Timber post caps live outdoors, so species and finish matter. We turn ours from durable hardwoods and easy-working softwoods chosen to weather well, and can supply them raw, primed or sealed ready for paint or stain. Sizing is straightforward: measure the width and depth of your post, or the internal socket if the cap slips over, and let us know the height and profile you have in mind. If you are unsure, a photo with a tape measure in frame is usually enough for us to recommend proportions that sit right on the post.

The matching service is where our workshop earns its reputation.
