Because it lives outdoors, our verandah fretwork is made from LOSP H3 treated pine, chosen to stand up to Melbourne weather while holding crisp decorative detail. It arrives ready to prime and paint in your heritage colour, and the treated timber resists rot and insect attack for the long term.

Outdoor timber fretwork is priced per lineal metre, so quoting your job is simple. Measure the total run along the beam that you want to fill, note any corners or feature sections, and we will price the panels to suit. Every run is made to order, so you can restore a single bay or dress an entire facade. We can scale the drop of the panel to suit a taller or lower verandah beam so the lace sits at the right height.

If you have a broken or missing panel, our full matching service can replicate the pattern from a photo or an offcut so the repair disappears into the original fretwork. This is where a genuine custom workshop matters, because a slightly wrong pattern or scale is obvious on a heritage streetscape.

Panels are supplied ready for your builder to cut to length and fix between the posts and under the beam.
